IDF Eliminates Three Hamas and Islamic Jihad Militants in Gaza
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have confirmed the elimination of three militants from Hamas and Islamic Jihad in the northern Gaza Strip. According to the IDF, these individuals were recently involved in preparing rocket attacks against Israeli forces and planting explosive devices.
On Wednesday, September 16, Said Asad Said Akram, identified as a battalion commander in Hamas's military wing, was killed in the Daraj Tuffah area. The IDF stated that Akram was responsible for planning and executing attacks.
Two other militants were eliminated on Tuesday. Nimr Yaser Nimr Arshi, described by the army as a member of Islamic Jihad's military wing, was involved in rocket fire targeting Israel from the Daraj Tuffah area. Ahmad Bahjat Saleh Shaer, designated by the IDF as a militant in Hamas's "Shuja'iyya" battalion, had recently been engaged in placing explosive devices.
