IDF Eliminates Two Hamas Commanders, One Linked to October 7th Training
The Israeli military announced on Monday the elimination of two Hamas operatives in the Gaza Strip, stating they systematically violated the ceasefire. According to the IDF spokesperson, the two individuals had recently advanced terror plans against Israeli civilians and military forces and were working to restore the terrorist organization's capabilities.
In an airstrike in the Khan Yunis area, the IDF killed Rafat Abu Zamer, a company commander in the operations headquarters of Hamas's military wing. The military stated Abu Zamer led the training for militants in preparation for the October 7th massacre and continued to train and develop the organization's combat capabilities recently.
In a separate strike in Gaza City, the IDF eliminated Muhammad Khader Fahmi Agour, an operative in the military wing involved in weapons manufacturing. The IDF emphasized that these strikes were intended to neutralize immediate threats and that measures were taken to minimize civilian harm through aerial surveillance and precision munitions.
Forces from the Southern Command remain deployed in the area in accordance with the ceasefire agreement.
