Israel Eliminates Hamas Commanders in Gaza Strikes

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted precise airstrikes in the Gaza Strip, eliminating two Hamas operatives, including a company commander. In Khan Yunis, Rafat Abu Zamar, identified as a company commander in Hamas's operations directorate, was killed. The IDF stated that Abu Zamar had trained militants for Hamas's military wing in preparation for the October 7th attacks and continued to develop the organization's combat capabilities.

In a separate strike in Gaza City, the IDF eliminated Muhammad A'gur, described as an operative involved in manufacturing weapons for Hamas's military wing and restoring its operational capacity. The IDF announced on Tuesday that both operatives had recently advanced terror plans against Israeli forces and civilians while working to rebuild Hamas's capabilities and systematically violating the ceasefire.

The strikes were carried out to neutralize immediate threats to Israeli forces. The IDF reported that measures were taken to minimize civilian casualties during the operations, including the use of precision munitions and aerial surveillance. Forces from the Southern Command remain deployed in the area and will continue to act to remove any immediate threats.

These targeted killings follow a series of recent IDF operations in Gaza. Earlier, the IDF eliminated Muhammad Yazouri, commander of Hamas's Khan Yunis brigade, who was reportedly involved in advancing terror plots and rebuilding the organization's infrastructure in the area. Additionally, militants involved in planting explosives against IDF forces were killed as part of ongoing efforts to dismantle terror infrastructure and neutralize threats to Israeli security forces and civilians.
