IDF Eliminates Three Hamas and PIJ Terror Operatives in Gaza

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced Wednesday the elimination of three terrorists from the military wings of Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) in northern Gaza. The strikes were conducted to neutralize immediate threats posed by the operatives, who were involved in planning and executing attacks against IDF forces.

One of the eliminated individuals was identified as Sa'id As'ad Sa'id Akram, a commander in Hamas's military wing in the Daraj Tuffah battalion. The IDF stated that Akram had recently been active in deploying explosive devices and advancing firing plans against Israeli troops. He was killed in a strike in the Daraj Tuffah area earlier on Wednesday.

In two separate strikes on Tuesday in northern Gaza, two other terrorists were killed. Namer Yasser Namer Arshi, described as a sectorial tactical non-commissioned officer in PIJ's military wing, was involved in rocket launches from the Daraj Tuffah sector toward Israel. Also killed was Ahmad Bazhat Saleh Sha'ar, a Hamas operative in the Shuja'iyya battalion, who had been involved in planting explosive devices.

The IDF stated that the recent activities of these terrorists, including systematic violations of the ceasefire, constituted a threat to IDF forces. Forces operating under the Southern Command remain deployed in the area and will continue to act to remove any immediate threats.
