IDF Eliminates Hamas Terrorist Involved in October 7 Kissufim Attack

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced Tuesday the elimination of a Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorist, Mohsen Farid Said Abu Dhaif, in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, late last week. Abu Dhaif led a rocket cell within the PIJ and participated in the October 7th massacre, infiltrating the Kissufim area.

According to the IDF, Abu Dhaif had recently been advancing terror plans against IDF forces and Israeli civilians, systematically violating the ceasefire. The military stated his elimination was necessary to neutralize the threat he posed. Precautions were taken to minimize civilian harm, including the use of precision munitions and aerial surveillance.

The IDF's Southern Command continues operations in the area, with the military emphasizing its commitment to removing any immediate threats. This strike follows a series of recent operations targeting terrorists involved in the October 7th attacks.

Earlier this month, the IDF eliminated Muhammad Mahmoud Marshed Al-Qadi, a commander in Hamas's elite Nukhba force who led the raid on the Sufa outpost and was involved in holding hostages in Rafah. Last week, Nukhba terrorist Ismail Ibrahim Darwish Qandil, who infiltrated Israel and participated in the killing of Colonel Jonathan Steinberg, was eliminated in Khan Younis. Prior to that, Hazem Mousa and Razek Suhail Suleiman Abu Shama, two Nukhba terrorists who infiltrated the Re'im camp, were killed; Abu Shama also served as a bodyguard for Yahya Sinwar. Additionally, the IDF eliminated PIJ terrorist Zahi Hader Hashem Al-Batrihi, involved in planting explosives against IDF forces, and Ahmad Fouad Khalil Halas, a Hamas Nukhba terrorist also involved in activity against forces.
