IDF Eliminates Three Hamas and PIJ Terrorists in Gaza
The Israeli military announced on Tuesday that its forces eliminated three terrorists in northern Gaza's Daraj Tuffah area. Among those killed was Sa'id As'ad Sa'id Akhr, identified as a commander in Hamas's military wing for the Daraj Tuffah battalion. The IDF stated that Akhr had recently been involved in activating explosive devices and advancing shooting attacks against Israeli forces.
In two separate strikes in the same northern Gaza region, two other militants were killed. Namer Yasser Namer Arshi was identified as a regional anti-tank missile operative in the Palestinian Islamic Jihad's military wing and participated in rocket launches from Daraj Tuffah toward Israel. Ahmad Bazhat Saleh Sha'ar was a member of Hamas's military wing in the Shuja'iyya battalion and had been involved in planting explosives.
The IDF stated that the terrorists' recent activities, including systematic violations of the ceasefire to advance terror plots, posed a threat to its forces. The strikes were conducted to neutralize this threat. Forces from the Southern Command remain deployed in the area and will continue to act against any immediate threats, according to the military.
