IDF Eliminates Hamas Weapons Maker and Company Commander in Gaza
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Monday that it had conducted targeted strikes in the Gaza Strip, eliminating two Hamas operatives. In Khan Yunis, the military killed Rafat Abu Zamer, identified as a company commander in Hamas's military wing's operations staff. The IDF stated that Abu Zamer was involved in training for the October 7th attacks and continued to train militants to restore the organization's combat capabilities.
In a separate strike in Gaza City, the IDF eliminated Muhammad Khader Fahmi Agour, described as an operative in Hamas's military wing responsible for manufacturing weapons for the terrorist organization. Security officials noted that both individuals posed an immediate threat and were advancing terror plans against Israeli civilians and forces, systematically violating the ceasefire.
The IDF emphasized that extensive measures were taken to minimize civilian casualties before these operations, including the use of precision munitions and aerial surveillance. Southern Command forces are continuing to operate in the area to thwart any further threats.
