UAE Denies Warning Netanyahu Before Oct. 7 Hamas Attack

The United Arab Emirates' Ministry of Foreign Affairs has officially responded to reports claiming that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu received a warning from UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed days before the October 7th Hamas attack. The UAE Foreign Ministry stated, "The government of the United Arab Emirates does not respond to media stories and speculations regarding conversations between leaders." The statement continued, "Our involvement since October 7th has been aimed at de-escalating tensions, regional stability, and preventing violence."

"The governments of the United Arab Emirates and Israel have maintained open and direct communication channels since establishing relations more than five years ago," the ministry added. "When required, all relevant intelligence has been transferred between the countries, and this continues."

Prime Minister Netanyahu's office also issued a denial in English on X, stating, "The media reports are false. No warning was given by the United Arab Emirates to the Prime Minister before October 7th. If there was any relevant information, it was transferred through intelligence channels between the two countries."
