Netanyahu Warned of Hamas Attack by UAE Days Before Oct. 7, Report Claims
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu received a direct warning from the UAE about Hamas's intentions days before the October 7th attack, according to journalist Shlomi Eldar. Eldar, co-author of the book "Kidnapped: 843 Days of Neglect," revealed that UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed conveyed a strong alert to Netanyahu regarding Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar's plans during a 45-minute phone call in late September 2023.
Eldar's reporting, part of his research for the book, suggests that Netanyahu did not relay this critical intelligence to the Israeli military or the Shin Bet security agency prior to the Hamas assault. The journalist raised questions about Netanyahu's actions upon receiving this information, given that the military and security establishment were apparently unaware of it before the attack occurred.
