UAE President Warned Netanyahu of Sinwar's Attack Plans, Report Claims

A report alleges that UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed warned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ten days before the October 7th Hamas attack about significant plans by Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar. According to the investigation for the book 'Hostages - 843 Days of Abandonment,' bin Zayed informed Netanyahu that Sinwar was preparing a "major event" and a " an earthquake."

Netanyahu reportedly reacted with indifference, assessing the threat as a potential escalation in the West Bank. He allegedly did not share the intelligence with the Defense Minister, the IDF Chief of Staff, or the heads of the Shin Bet and Mossad.

The Prime Minister's Office has vehemently denied the report, calling it a "complete lie" and stating that Netanyahu did not speak with the UAE president or receive any such warning prior to the attack.

Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett reacted strongly to the report, confirming its veracity and accusing Netanyahu of "criminal negligence." Bennett stated that Netanyahu bears direct personal responsibility for the failure that led to thousands of Israeli deaths and that his actions are aimed at preventing a state inquiry to hide the truth. Bennett suggested Netanyahu was trapped by his own assumptions, ignoring clear warnings from regional leaders and focusing instead on dividing Israeli society and appeasing terror for temporary quiet.

The report, published by the newspaper 'Haaretz,' has sparked further debate regarding the intelligence failures preceding the October 7th massacre.
