Netanyahu Denies UAE President Warned Him of Oct. 7 Attack

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vehemently denied reports that the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, warned him of an impending attack ten days before the October 7th Hamas massacre. Netanyahu took to social media platform X to state that he has instructed his lawyers to file a defamation lawsuit against the newspaper Haaretz, its journalist Shlomi Eldar, and other involved parties.

He reiterated his denial, asserting, "From the beginning of September until October 7th, no conversation took place between the Prime Minister and the President of the United Arab Emirates. The Prime Minister's Office, the National Security Council, and the Military Secretary's Office have meticulously checked the Prime Minister's call logs during these days and found no trace of this."

Netanyahu also accused Eldar of lying about claims that Egypt had warned the Prime Minister about a potential attack, despite the United States confirming such warnings were issued.
