Ben Gurion Airport Parking Lots Reopen After Rosh Hashanah Congestion
The Israel Airports Authority announced this morning that public parking lots at Ben Gurion Airport have reopened to travelers. This allows passengers to arrive at the airport by private vehicle and park on-site.
The update follows an announcement yesterday from the authority stating that parking facilities at the airport had reached full capacity due to heavy traffic during the Rosh Hashanah holiday.
Yesterday, due to the congestion, travelers and those accompanying them were advised to avoid arriving by private car and to instead use public transportation.
As of this morning, the parking lots are open again, and yesterday's advisory is no longer in effect.
