Ben Gurion Airport Parking Lots Full Amid Holiday Travel Rush
Ben Gurion Airport's parking facilities have reached full capacity due to the surge in travelers during the High Holidays, the Israel Airports Authority announced Sunday. All parking lots, including those designated for long-term parking, are completely full, with no available spaces.
The authority urged passengers and those accompanying them to avoid arriving at the airport by private car and instead utilize public transportation. It did not provide an estimated time for when parking spaces might become available, stating the directive is in effect until further notice.
"Due to the increase in passenger volume during the High Holidays, Ben Gurion Airport's parking lots are currently at full capacity and there are no available parking spaces until further notice," the Airports Authority stated. "We ask the public of passengers and escorts to refrain from arriving at Ben Gurion Airport by private vehicle and to reach the airport using public transportation. We apologize for the inconvenience and ask for your understanding."
The authority added that further updates will be provided once the parking situation changes.
