Israeli Forces Discover Weapons Cache in Palestinian Wells
During a nighttime operation in Qalqilya, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Border Police uncovered two wells, approximately 12 meters deep, containing hidden weapons and ammunition. The discovered arsenal included an M16 rifle, a hunting rifle, and a pistol. Security forces confirmed that there were no tunnels within the wells and that the sites were not located near the separation barrier.
Four individuals suspected of terrorist activities were apprehended during the operation and taken for further investigation. The IDF stated that the operation is ongoing, with additional search efforts underway in the Qalqilya area to locate any further wells potentially used for storing weapons or ammunition.
