Tunnel and Weapons Cache Discovered in Qalqilya

Israeli forces uncovered an unfinished tunnel, approximately 25 meters deep, during an operation in the West Bank city of Qalqilya. The operation, conducted by the Central District's anti-crime unit and Border Police fighters, also led to the discovery of a cache of weapons and military equipment. Among the items found were an M16 rifle, a sniper rifle, ammunition, magazines, phones, fertilizer (a component used in explosives), and a DVR device. Forces also found the beginnings of another tunnel excavation. Four suspects were arrested at the scene and taken for questioning. The operation was described as a precise intelligence and offensive activity in the "Shomeron" region.
