Israeli Security Forces Uncover Tunnel and Weapons Cache in Samaria
Israeli security forces have discovered an unfinished tunnel, at least 25 meters deep, in the West Bank city of Qalqilya. Adjacent to this, another tunnel in its early stages of construction was also found. The operation was carried out by the Samaria District crime fighting unit and border police officers.
During the search, authorities seized an M16 rifle, a sniper rifle, ammunition, magazines, mobile phones, and agricultural fertilizer, which could potentially be used for manufacturing explosive devices. A DVR video recorder was also confiscated.
Four suspects were apprehended during the operation and taken for questioning. The police stated their commitment to continuing operations aimed at uncovering underground infrastructure and weapons in the Samaria region.
