Kfar Saba Mayor Calls Tunnel Found Near Qalqilya a Serious Security Threat

Rafi Sa'ar, the mayor of Kfar Saba and chairman of the "Line of Contact Settlements Forum," has reacted strongly to the discovery of a tunnel near the Palestinian city of Qalqilya. Sa'ar described the find as a "serious incident that illustrates how real and immediate the security threat is to residents along the line of contact."

He emphasized that this is not a theoretical warning but a tangible security reality that demands decisive action. Sa'ar stated that residents of the line of contact, including those in Kfar Saba and the wider Sharon region, cannot live with uncertainty.

"They are entitled to security, protection, and peace, and the State of Israel must provide them with the necessary security response," Sa'ar declared, highlighting the urgent need for the Israeli government to address the perceived threat.
