Israel Forces Dismantle West Bank Weapons Workshops
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF), with support from the Shin Bet security agency, concluded a large-scale, two-day counter-terrorism operation in and around the West Bank city of Nablus (Shechem). During the operation, Israeli forces destroyed over 30 specialized machines used for the underground manufacturing of weapons and ammunition.
Security forces searched hundreds of locations, interrogated dozens of residents, and arrested more than 10 individuals suspected of involvement in terrorist activities. In addition to the manufacturing equipment, hidden caches of firearms, pistols, and various ammunition intended for attacks were seized.
IDF representatives stated that Israeli units will continue to act proactively to thwart any terrorist activities in Judea and Samaria, emphasizing that these measures are aimed at ensuring the safety of local residents and protecting Israeli civilians from potential threats.
