Israeli Forces Destroy 48 Machines Used for Illicit Weapons Production in Nablus
Israeli police, prison service, and military forces conducted a two-night operation in and around Nablus (Shchem), destroying 48 machines used by criminals for manufacturing and repairing weapons. The operation involved officers from the Ariel police station, the Judea and Samaria police, the Prison Service's central investigation unit, and soldiers from the "Shomron" brigade.
Raids were carried out in eight workshops, where the 48 machines were identified and subsequently destroyed by the "Yael" engineering special forces unit. Additionally, soldiers confiscated a hunting rifle, equipment, and other items.
During the operation, 11 suspects were arrested for their alleged involvement in illegal arms and ammunition trafficking. They have been handed over to the police for further investigation.
