Israeli Security Forces Bust Network Smuggling Bomb-Making Materials to West Bank Terror Groups
A joint operation by the Israeli Border Police, IDF, Shin Bet, and Tax Authority uncovered a smuggling network supplying dual-use materials for bomb-making to terrorist organizations in the West Bank. Fourteen suspects were arrested, including an Israeli citizen and Palestinians, with approximately 175 kilograms of materials seized. The investigation, which lasted several months, was launched following a rise in bomb threats that resulted in casualties among Israeli security forces. Authorities allege the materials were smuggled at a value of millions of shekels while evading tax payments.
