IDF Seizes, Destroys Over 30 Weapons Manufacturing Lathes in West Bank Operation
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the completion of a 48-hour counter-terrorism operation in the Samaria Brigade area, focusing on the city of Nablus and surrounding villages. The operation, conducted in coordination with the Shin Bet security agency, aimed to disrupt weapons manufacturing and arrest wanted individuals.
During the extensive sweep, IDF forces searched hundreds of locations, interrogated dozens of suspects, and apprehended over 10 individuals sought by security forces. A significant outcome of the operation was the seizure and destruction of more than 30 industrial lathes. These machines were identified as crucial tools used in the illicit production of weapons.
In addition to the dismantled manufacturing equipment, soldiers confiscated hidden weapons, including firearms and ammunition. The IDF stated that its forces will continue proactive and offensive operations throughout the Judea and Samaria Division to counter terrorism and ensure the security of residents in the region and Israeli citizens nationwide.
