IDF Eliminates Hamas Commanders Involved in October 7th Attack
The Israeli military and Shin Bet security agency announced over the weekend the elimination of three Hamas operatives, including a Nukhba commando commander and two militants who participated in the October 7th massacre. The operation, conducted on Saturday, resulted in the death of Yahya Hamdouna, an operative in Hamas's military wing who infiltrated Israeli territory at the start of the war.
In separate strikes, Muhammad Rafa'i, a militant from the Daraj Tuffah battalion who also entered Israel on October 7th, and the Nukhba commander on the Al-Burs axis were killed. Israeli security officials stated that these three individuals had recently been advancing terror plans against IDF forces and civilians, and were working to restore the capabilities of the terrorist organization while systematically violating the ceasefire.
The strikes were carried out using precision munitions and aerial surveillance to neutralize the threat and minimize harm to uninvolved civilians. The IDF affirmed that forces are deployed in the area according to the agreement and will continue to act to remove any immediate threats.
