IDF Eliminates Hamas Commander Involved in October 7th Attack
The Israeli military announced the elimination of a Hamas commander, Muhammad Suleiman Bayouk, in Khan Yunis. The IDF stated that Bayouk participated in the October 7th massacre, infiltrating Israeli territory.
During the ongoing conflict, and particularly recently, Bayouk was involved in planting explosive devices across the Gaza Strip aimed at harming Israeli forces. He also advanced terror plans against the IDF and Israeli civilians, worked to improve the operational capabilities of Hamas operatives, and systematically violated the ceasefire.
The IDF stated that Bayouk was eliminated to neutralize the threat he posed. Forces under the Southern Command are deployed in the area and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threats.
