Israel Eliminates Hamas Operatives Involved in October 7th Attack and Terror Plotting
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Shin Bet security agency announced on Saturday the elimination of three Hamas operatives, including a commander of the elite Nukhba force. The operation targeted Yahya Hamdouna, a Hamas military wing operative who participated in the October 7th massacre by infiltrating Israeli territory.
In separate strikes over the weekend, the IDF and Shin Bet also killed Muhammad Rafa'i, a terrorist from the Daraj Tuffah battalion who also took part in the October 7th invasion, and Basir Albarsh, identified as a Nukhba commander.
These operatives were reportedly advancing terror plots against IDF forces and Israeli civilians and were working to restore the terrorist organization's capabilities, systematically violating the ceasefire. The strikes were carried out to neutralize these threats.
Security forces stated that measures were taken prior to the attacks to minimize civilian casualties, including the use of precision munitions and aerial surveillance. The forces remain deployed in the area and will continue to act to remove any immediate threats.
