Israel Eliminates Hamas Nukhba Terrorist Involved in October 7th Attack
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Tuesday the elimination of Sharif Shadi Ibrahim Labad, a Hamas Nukhba terrorist who infiltrated Israel on October 7th. Labad was targeted in an airstrike in northern Gaza.
The IDF stated that the strike was carried out to 'remove a threat' posed by the operative. Labad had participated in the October 7th massacre, infiltrating the Erez Crossing. Footage from that day reportedly shows him smiling with his weapon.
Earlier in the week, on Monday, the IDF also eliminated Yusef Saad Al-Adin Rashad Zeim, identified as a Nukhba commander in Hamas's military wing, in a separate strike in northern Gaza. The IDF indicated that these operations are aimed at countering renewed terror plots and efforts by Hamas to rebuild its capabilities, which they claim violate the ceasefire.
The military emphasized that measures were taken to prevent civilian casualties before the strikes, including the use of precision munitions and aerial surveillance.
