IDF Eliminates Hamas Sniper Squad Leader and Terrorist Infiltrator from October 7 Attack
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted airstrikes in the southern Gaza Strip earlier this week, killing Ahmad Al-Shaam Mahmoud Luh, the leader of a sniper squad in Hamas's Nukhayrat Battalion. Mahmoud Luh was the last sniper squad leader in the battalion, and his elimination follows a series of targeted killings of similar Hamas operatives.
On the same day, the IDF also killed Mahmoud Ali Mahmoud Tarush, a platoon commander in Hamas's military wing, during a separate strike in northern Gaza. Tarush was one of the terrorists who infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7 massacre.
