The story · English

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted an airstrike in Jabalia, northern Gaza, yesterday, eliminating Abd al-Fattah Abu al-Aish, a commander in Hamas's Nukhba force. Abu al-Aish had participated in the October 7th massacre, infiltrating Israeli territory.

Also killed in the same strike was another Hamas operative, Ra'id Adel Muhammad Aliian. According to the IDF, both men had recently been advancing terror plots against IDF forces and Israeli civilians. They were also reportedly working to restore the organization's capabilities while systematically violating the ceasefire.

The strike was carried out to neutralize the threat posed by the operatives. Forces from the Southern Command operating in the area will continue to act to remove any further threats.
