IDF Kills Hamas Nukhba Commander Involved in Oct. 7 Attack
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Tuesday that it had eliminated Abd al-Fattah Abu al-Eish, a Nukhba commander in Hamas's military wing, in an airstrike in the Jabalia area of northern Gaza. According to the IDF, Abu al-Eish infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7th Hamas-led attack.
Also killed in the same strike was Ra'id Adel Muhammad Alian, an operative in the terrorist organization's military wing. The IDF stated that both individuals had recently been advancing terror plans against IDF forces and Israeli civilians and were working to restore Hamas's capabilities.
The military further reported that their activities were conducted in systematic violation of the ceasefire. The strike was carried out to neutralize the threat posed by the two operatives. IDF forces in the Southern Command are deployed in the area and will continue to operate to remove threats.
