IDF Eliminates Hamas Nukhba Commanders Involved in October 7th Attack
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the elimination of two Hamas Nukhba commanders in Gaza. Sharif Shadi Ibrahim Labad, identified as a Nukhba operative who participated in the October 7th attack on the Erez Crossing, was killed in an IDF strike in northern Gaza. Earlier this week, another Nukhba commander, Yusef Saad Al-Adin Rashad Zaeem, was also eliminated.
The IDF stated that both individuals had recently advanced terror plans against IDF forces and Israeli civilians and were working to restore the terrorist organization's capabilities, systematically violating the ceasefire. The strikes were carried out to neutralize the threat they posed. Prior to the operations, measures were taken to minimize civilian harm, including the use of precision munitions and aerial surveillance.
Southern Command stated, "We continue to be prepared in the area in accordance with the agreement, with the aim of continuing to act to remove any immediate threat."
