IDF and Shin Bet Eliminate Hamas Commander and Two Terrorists Involved in Oct. 7 Attack
The Israeli military and the Shin Bet security agency announced the elimination of Yahya Hamdouna, a Hamas terrorist who infiltrated Israel on October 7. The announcement also stated that during additional strikes over the weekend, IDF and Shin Bet forces killed two other terrorists: Muhammad Rafa'i, who also infiltrated Israel on October 7, and Bassir al-Barsh, identified as a Hamas "Nukhba" commander.
The "Nukhba" forces are elite Hamas units that played a significant role in the initial October 7th assault on Israel. The operation to eliminate these individuals was conducted by the IDF and Shin Bet.
