IDF Kills Hamas Terrorist Involved in October 7th Incursion
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Tuesday that they had eliminated a Hamas terrorist, Muhammad Suleiman Bayouk, in the Khan Yunis area of southern Gaza. Bayouk, described as a commander in Hamas's military wing, had infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7th attacks.
According to an IDF spokesperson, Bayouk was active during the ongoing war, recently involved in planting explosive devices throughout Gaza with the aim of harming Israeli forces. The IDF stated that Bayouk had advanced terror plans against both IDF soldiers and Israeli civilians, and worked to improve the operational readiness and capabilities of Hamas operatives, systematically violating the ceasefire.
The operation to eliminate Bayouk took place two days prior to the announcement, in the southern Gaza city of Khan Yunis.
