Israel Eliminates Three Hamas Terrorists Involved in October 7 Attacks
The Israeli military (IDF) and the Shin Bet security agency announced the elimination of three Hamas terrorists involved in the October 7, 2023, attacks. Yahya Hamdouna, who infiltrated Israel during the massacres, was killed. Additional strikes over the weekend resulted in the deaths of Mohammed Rafai, also an infiltrator, and Bassir al-Barash, identified as a commander in Hamas's elite Nukhba force.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu offered condolences to the family of a victim from an attack in the Binyamin region. "On behalf of all Israeli citizens, my wife and I extend our sincere condolences to the family and share their immense pain," he stated. Netanyahu vowed that "no terrorist is safe, nor are those who assisted them. We will settle our accounts with each of them, in Gaza, Lebanon, and Judea and Samaria." He also ordered the immediate demolition of the terrorist's home.
In a separate incident in Eilat, two teenagers, aged 15 and 16, were arrested on suspicion of assaulting a hotel security guard overnight. The altercation reportedly began after the guard denied them entry to the establishment.
