Man Dies From West Bank Shooting Attack Near Neve Tzuf
A 30-year-old man critically wounded in a shooting attack near the settlement of Neve Tzuf in the Benjamin region has died from his injuries, confirmed Rabin Medical Center-Beilinson Hospital on Friday. The victim was shot while at the Ein Ra'aya spring near Neve Tzuf. The assailant, armed and on foot, reportedly emerged from a vehicle before fleeing the scene.
An extensive manhunt for the attacker is underway, involving Israeli police from the Shomron region and forensic investigators from the Judea and Samaria district, who are collecting evidence at the scene. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have deployed forces from the Benjamin Regional Brigade, the Duvdevan Unit, and additional reinforcement companies to aid in the search. Police roadblocks have been established throughout the area, with forces and drones scanning the terrain. Israeli Air Force assets and a police helicopter have also been deployed to assist in locating the suspect.
