Settler Critically Wounded in Shooting Attack Near Halamish Settlement
A settler sustained critical injuries on Sunday in a shooting attack targeting a group of settlers near the Halamish settlement (also known as Nofei Tzuf) northwest of Ramallah. The Israeli military deployed significant forces to the area and initiated a pursuit of the perpetrator.
According to Israeli reports, the attack was carried out from a passing vehicle that fired upon the settlers near the Ein Riyya spring, a water source controlled by settlers in the vicinity of the settlement. Israeli media outlets, including the Public Broadcasting Corporation (Kan 11), circulated an image of a red Mitsubishi Outlander with Palestinian license plates, suggesting it was the vehicle used in the shooting. However, no official confirmation regarding the perpetrator's identity has been released.
The incident occurred near the settlement of Halamish, located northwest of Ramallah.
