Israel Arrests Senior Hamas Official in Gaza Amid Airstrikes

Israeli security forces arrested a senior Hamas official, Mu'een Muhammad al-Arbeed, within the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, according to Israeli Security Minister Yisrael Katz. Al-Arbeed is reportedly a high-ranking figure in Hamas's internal security apparatus. The arrest operation in Gaza City reportedly involved an exchange of fire, with Palestinian sources claiming several individuals were killed. An Israeli military source stated the operation was conducted to "neutralize an immediate threat" and confirmed no Israeli forces were injured.
