IDF and Shin Bet Arrest Hamas Internal Security Chief in Gaza
In a joint operation, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Shin Bet security agency have arrested the head of Hamas's internal security for the entire Gaza Strip. Special forces from the Shin Bet raided a structure in the Gaza City area and apprehended the operative. During the operation, the Air Force attacked several military targets in the vicinity to neutralize threats to the forces, with no Israeli casualties reported.
The arrested individual was responsible for consolidating Hamas's control in the northern Gaza Strip and advancing terror plans against IDF forces. He has been transferred to Israel for interrogation.
