Border Police Neutralize Attacker at Damascus Gate in Jerusalem
Border Police officers neutralized a Palestinian terrorist who attempted a stabbing attack near Damascus Gate in Jerusalem's Old City early Tuesday morning. The incident occurred around 3:45 AM when the attacker, identified as 33-year-old Ibrahim Al-Hindi from the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Beit Hanina, approached the officers. They responded and neutralized him on the spot.
Approximately one hour before the attempted attack, Al-Hindi posted on Facebook, "My heart is burning. Enough."
The Border Police stated that their forces acted decisively to thwart the attack and prevent casualties.
