Attacker Neutralized at Jerusalem's Damascus Gate After Attempted Stabbing

An assailant attempted to stab Border Police officers at Damascus Gate in Jerusalem's Old City on Tuesday. The 33-year-old attacker was quickly neutralized by the forces at the scene. No officers were injured in the incident.

Jerusalem District Commander Doron Turgeman stated that the city remains secure following the event. The area around Damascus Gate is a frequent site of security incidents. The attacker's identity and background are still under investigation.
