Roy Revivo Signs Four-Year Deal With Spanish Club Elche

After a protracted dispute with Maccabi Tel Aviv, Roy Revivo has officially signed a four-year contract with Spanish club Elche, as reported by Ynet. The 18-year-old Israeli left-back underwent medical tests in Spain after arriving late Monday night and was formally presented by the club. His salary will be €450,000 per season.

Elche paid Maccabi Tel Aviv €2.5 million for the transfer. The club announced Revivo's signing with a video featuring an artist painting him celebrating in the team's home stadium. Revivo's father, Haim Revivo, was a prominent player in Spain's La Liga from 1996 to 2000, playing for Celta Vigo, and his son now follows in his footsteps.

Revivo's final match for Maccabi Tel Aviv was against Maccabi Haifa. He joins an Elche squad that is still seeking its first league win of the 2026-27 season. The team has recorded one draw and two losses in its opening three matches, including a 5-0 defeat to Barcelona and a 3-2 loss to Racing Santander. Notable players on Elche's roster include Austrian defender David Abraham, Spanish midfielder Aleix Febas, and young Argentine midfielder Federico Redondo, son of legendary player Fernando Redondo.
