Roy Revivo Signs 3-Year Deal With Spanish Club Elche
Israeli right-back Roy Revivo has officially signed a three-season contract with Spanish La Liga club Elche, concluding a protracted transfer saga. The deal is reportedly worth approximately 3 million euros.
Revivo arrived in Spain after a journey involving four flights, managing to complete the signing just before the transfer window's deadline at midnight Spanish time. He departs Maccabi Tel Aviv after 15 years with the club, where he spent 10 years in the youth system.
During his tenure with Maccabi Tel Aviv, Revivo won two league championships, two Super Cups, and one State Cup. He made 86 appearances across all competitions, scoring 12 goals and providing 36 assists from his defensive position.
This move to Europe comes after a previous transfer attempt to Danish club Copenhagen was blocked by Maccabi Tel Aviv last summer. Maccabi Tel Aviv expressed gratitude to Revivo for his dedication, professionalism, and contributions over the years, wishing him success in his future endeavors.
