Roy Revivo's Transfer Details to Elche Revealed
Israeli footballer Roy Revivo is set to sign a four-year contract with Spanish club Elche today, becoming the latest Israeli player to join a European league at the age of 23. Revivo played his final match for Maccabi Tel Aviv on Tuesday, a 3-1 victory over Maccabi Haifa, as the transfer agreement between the clubs was finalized early Tuesday morning.
Maccabi Tel Aviv will receive a transfer fee of 2.8 million euros for Revivo. Additionally, the club is entitled to 20 percent of any future transfer fee if Revivo is sold by Elche. Revivo's new contract with Elche will see him earn 600,000 euros annually.
In a move to facilitate the transfer, the Revivo family relinquished their 15 percent stake in the player's registration rights. This concession was crucial in finalizing the deal between the two clubs.
