Maccabi Tel Aviv Eyes Yehav Gorfinkel to Replace Departing Roy Revivo
Maccabi Tel Aviv is reportedly considering Yehav Gorfinkel as a potential replacement for left-back Roy Revivo, who played his final game for the club in their 3-1 victory over Maccabi Haifa on Monday. Revivo, 23, is on his way to sign with Spanish club Elche before the transfer window closes in Spain.
Gorfinkel, 28, currently plays for AEK Larnaca and was also a target for Hapoel Tel Aviv, who recently withdrew their interest. He could fill the void left by Revivo's departure to La Liga.
Gorfinkel was part of the Larnaca squad that was eliminated from the Conference League qualifiers by Beitar Jerusalem earlier this season. He played a total of 96 minutes across two matches against Beitar Jerusalem in the current 2026/27 season. Last season, he joined Larnaca in January and made 15 appearances, including two in the Conference League. During his time in Cyprus, he played alongside former Maccabi Tel Aviv player Enric Saborit.
