Initially, the aircraft transmitted emergency code 7700, indicating a general emergency. Subsequently, some tracking systems showed code 7500, which signifies unlawful interference. The Prime Minister's Office stated that Prime Minister Netanyahu held consultations and monitored the developments, assuring that the situation was under control and all measures were being taken to safely return the Israeli passengers to Israel.
