Israel Weather Forecast: Hot and Mostly Clear Through Thursday, Rain Expected Friday
Israel's Meteorological Service forecasts a slight rise in temperatures on Monday, September 14, with conditions remaining slightly above the seasonal average. The day will be mostly clear with some morning fog in certain areas. Highs will range from 18-33 degrees Celsius in Jerusalem, 23-31 in Tel Aviv and Haifa, and a scorching 28-40 in Eilat. Other cities like Beersheba will see highs of 35, while the Dead Sea coast will reach 39 degrees. Coastal areas like Ashkelon and Ashdod will experience highs of 31, Ariel 33, and Tiberias and the Sea of Galilee area 38. The Golan Heights will have highs of 37 degrees.
Sea temperatures along the Mediterranean coast will be around 30 degrees Celsius, with waves measuring 30-60 cm. Winds will be generally light, with northwesterly breezes expected along the Mediterranean coast and in the Sea of Galilee area, and northeasterly winds in the Eilat Bay area.
Conditions are expected to remain largely unchanged from Tuesday through Thursday, with variable cloudiness. A significant change is anticipated for Friday, with a drop in temperature and scattered rain showers expected. Saturday will see little change from Friday, and Sunday will bring a further slight decrease in temperatures.
