Israel is set to experience a slight increase in temperatures starting today, with readings expected to be higher than usual for this time of year, particularly in mountainous regions and inland areas. The weather forecast indicates clear to partly cloudy skies overnight.
Today's high temperatures will range from the low 30s Celsius in Jerusalem (33°C) and Tel Aviv (31°C) to the high 30s and low 40s in other locations. Cities like Tiberias and Beit She'an will see highs of 38°C and 39°C respectively, while Eilat is forecast to reach a peak of 40°C. Inland areas such as Afula and Be'er Sheva will experience highs of 36°C and 35°C.
Overnight temperatures will remain mild, with lows generally in the low to mid-20s Celsius across the country. For instance, Jerusalem will see a low of 21°C, Tel Aviv 23°C, and Eilat 29°C. The northern city of Safed will experience a significant diurnal temperature variation, with a low of 20°C and a high of 33°C.
