Inland areas could experience heatwave conditions. In Tel Aviv, highs will reach around 31 degrees Celsius (88°F), while Jerusalem will see temperatures between 32-33°C (90-91°F). The Sea of Galilee area will be significantly hotter, with highs of 37-38°C (99-100°F).

However, a shift is anticipated by Thursday, with temperatures beginning to drop. This cooling trend will continue into the weekend, bringing the first hints of autumn. There is a good chance of localized rain in northern Israel on Friday.

Looking ahead, a renewed warming trend is forecast for the beginning of next week, around the time of Yom Kippur. More significant weather changes, potentially including widespread rain, are possible later in September and into October, though forecasts for this period remain uncertain and subject to change.
