Israel Braces for Weather Shift as Heatwave Continues
Israel is experiencing unseasonably high temperatures, particularly in the mountains and inland areas, with no significant change expected on Tuesday. The heatwave is forecast to persist through Wednesday, with clear skies and temperatures remaining above the seasonal average.
On Thursday, skies will clear after morning clouds dissipate, and a slight drop in temperatures is anticipated, especially in mountainous and inland regions. However, temperatures will still be higher than usual for this time of year.
Friday is expected to be partly cloudy, with little temperature change. Light, localized rain or drizzle may occur until the afternoon, primarily in northern Israel and along the coastal plain. Highs in Tel Aviv and Haifa will reach 30°C (86°F), while Jerusalem will see highs of 32°C (90°F). Beersheba and Afula are forecast to reach 36°C (97°F), and Mitzpe Ramon 33°C (91°F).
