Netanyahu Vows No Terror Army on Border During Golan Heights Visit
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, accompanied by Defense Minister Israel Katz and Deputy Chief of Staff Major General Tamir Yadai, visited the Hermon Salient in Syria on Wednesday. During his visit to an IDF post overlooking Syria, the Prime Minister received an operational briefing on the sector from the Commander of the Northern Command, Major General Rafi Milo, and the Commander of the 210th Division, Brigadier General Yair Palai.
Speaking from the field, Netanyahu emphasized Israel's "complete control" over the entire area from the Hermon Salient to the Yarmouk River, and from there to the Mediterranean Sea, calling it a "great achievement" of the "War of Uprising." He stated unequivocally that Israel "will not allow any terror army to establish itself on our border."
Netanyahu further clarified that Israel's primary remaining mission is to "defeat the terror regime in Iran," a goal he believes Israel is close to completing. He expressed certainty that "the entire axis will finally fall" once this objective is achieved.
