Police Launch Nationwide Traffic Enforcement Campaign
Israeli police launched a large-scale traffic enforcement campaign across the country on Wednesday, which is set to continue into the late hours of the night. Hundreds of police officers and volunteers are participating in the operation, which covers roads both within and outside cities, from the northern to the southern regions.
The campaign is focusing on serious traffic violations and reckless driving, with particular attention paid to new drivers, truck and bus drivers, commercial vehicle operators, and motorcyclists of all types. Specialized units involved include the national motorcycle unit, the national traffic police, the heavy vehicle unit deployed along Highway 6, and the digital ticketing unit.

The operation aims to enhance road safety by targeting dangerous driving behaviors and specific driver groups.
