IDF Eliminates Hamas Commander Behind Kibbutz Nir Am Attack
The Israeli military announced Tuesday that it had eliminated Muhammad al-Qadi, a Hamas commander identified as having led the raid on the Sufa military outpost on October 7th. Al-Qadi was also involved in holding hostages in the Rafah area.
Al-Qadi was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Khan Younis, southern Gaza. He held the position of commander within Hamas's elite Nukhba force, which spearheaded the October 7th assault on southern Israel. His role in the Sufa outpost attack involved breaching the base and participating in the subsequent massacre.
Following the October 7th events, al-Qadi reportedly took part in holding hostages in the Rafah region. The IDF stated that al-Qadi's elimination is part of ongoing efforts to dismantle Hamas's military capabilities and bring those responsible for the October 7th attacks to justice.
